One half of the American social media duo known as the Island Boys, Franky Venegas, allegedly provided law enforcement officials with his twin brother’s name after being apprehended for reckless driving in Florida a few days prior.

According to reports, officers observed Venegas driving at a high speed in his yellow Corvette Stingray on May 24 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Upon seeing Venegas speed into a parking lot, they received a report about the yellow Corvette and another gray vehicle in the vicinity, with multiple individuals reportedly armed with firearms.

Officers activated their emergency lights and approached Venegas, who purportedly identified himself as “Alex.” Alex is Frank’s twin brother and the other half of the Island Boys.

A swift background check revealed that the information provided was false. Subsequently, they located Venegas’s state ID, confirming his identity as Franky, also known as Kodiyakredd.

Further investigation uncovered that Venegas was driving without a valid driver’s license. Consequently, he was arrested on the spot and taken to Broward County Jail, where he was booked for driving without a valid license, providing false identification, and reckless driving.

Venegas was subsequently released on May 25.
