Diddy’s ex-security chief, Roger Bonds, has criticized the rapper for “faking remorse” in the apology video he posted after a 2016 incident with his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura resurfaced.

Last Sunday, May 19, Diddy shared a video addressing the clip released by CNN on May 17, showing him assaulting Cassie at a hotel in 2016.

Diddy, in his apology, did not directly mention Cassie. He acknowledged his actions in the video, stating that he has changed after undergoing therapy for his aggressive behavior towards women.

He expressed, “Reflecting on the toughest moments in your life is challenging, but it’s necessary. I was in a bad place – I hit rock bottom – and I don’t justify my actions. What I did in that video is unforgivable. I accept full accountability for my behavior in that video.”

Reacting, Roger Bonds, who worked for Diddy as his head of security from 2003 to 2012, accused Diddy of not only abusing Cassie but also the late actress Kim Porter, who was in a relationship with the rap mogul for 13 years.

Bonds questioned Diddy if he hit rock bottom when he attacked his children’s mother, Kim Porter, or when he assaulted his ex Gina Huynh.

Bonds also implied that Diddy has mistreated multiple women by stating, “I suppose you were remorseful and hit rock bottom for years because you were not only abusing her and Kim but others too. Let’s take a moment to think about it!! From Harlem to Hollywood, changes are on the horizon.”Diddy

Virginia V, also known as Huynh, made these accusations during an interview in 2019, which resurfaced in 2023 following Cassie’s legal action against Diddy.

She recounted, “He stomped on my stomach really hard – like, knocked the wind out of me. I couldn’t catch my breath.

He continued to hit me. I begged him, ‘Can you please stop? I can’t breathe.'” Huynh, aged 31, alleged that the rapper, aged 54, then pulled her hair and was “punching” the back of her head. Eventually, she fought back as she had “had enough of his behavior.”
