Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk is facing allegations of engaging in sexual relationships with a SpaceX executive and a former intern, as well as soliciting another staff member to bear his children.
According to The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Musk, aged 52, is alleged to have been involved with an intern who was 20 years his junior and attempted to reignite their relationship after she formally joined SpaceX. Allegedly, he flew her to Sicily, Italy, where he was attending an exclusive Google conference.
In 2017, Mr. Musk reportedly offered the woman a full-time job at SpaceX, where her role would involve identifying company issues. The Journal claims that during a meeting over drinks, he touched her breasts, accompanied by remarks such as, “Oh, I’m so bad. I shouldn’t be doing this.”
The woman, as stated in an affidavit provided to the Journal, asserts that she rejected his advances. However, according to one of her friends, Mr. Musk continued to “text her a lot” and once invited her to his residence.
In her affidavit, the intern emphasized that there was no romantic involvement during her tenure at SpaceX, and she did not consider Mr. Musk to be predatory.
Additionally, Mr. Musk is accused of persistently asking another female employee to have children with him before she received a £780,000 settlement and departed from the company in 2013.
