A family’s dog mauled a 6-week-old baby as he slept in his crib, resulting in the tragic death of little Ezra Mansoor. The incident occurred in their Knoxville, Tennessee, home, and Ezra passed away on Thursday, May 30, six days after the husky attacked him.
Chloe Mansoor, the grieving mother, expressed, “Being his mom was the biggest honor and the best thing I’ve ever done,” to WVLT.
Ezra’s first-time parents revealed that he had been in critical condition in the hospital for nearly a week before his passing. His injuries included life-threatening conditions such as a brain bleed and brain swelling.
The family was shocked by the “completely unprovoked” attack, as neither of their two dogs, one of which they had owned for eight years, had a history of aggression.
