She resigned in February for different reasons, but now she’s being investigated for criminal actions, although no charges have been filed yet. The school only found out about the explicit videos last Wednesday.
On Monday, May 27, there was a tragic incident at the school where another staff member was found dead, possibly a victim of homicide.
Laura Smith, who served as the school’s Early Childhood Special Education Aide, was found deceased in her home.
The following day, Tuesday, May 28, Smith’s husband suddenly resigned from his job at the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office as the local sheriff’s office initiated a murder investigation after discovering her body.
