Looks like Ipswich Town is gearing up to offer the sought-after Kieran McKenna one of the top managerial salaries in the Premier League to retain him.

The 38-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs due to his success in leading the Tractor Boys to consecutive promotions.

It seems like Manchester United, Chelsea, and Brighton have all made initial inquiries about the in-demand McKenna.

 

He was already earning approximately £1.2 million annually, which was among the highest salaries in the Championship.

Now, we’ve disclosed that Ipswich’s board is making a strong effort to retain him and is proposing an impressive new contract worth £5 million per year for the next four seasons.
