Mbappé expressed “immense pleasure” in joining Madrid, describing the move to the 15-time European champions as “a dream come true.” On the day of the announcement, Mbappé shared on Twitter, “A dream come true. Very happy and proud to be part of my dream club @realmadrid. It is impossible to explain how happy and excited I feel right now. I can’t wait to see you, Madridistas, and thank you for your incredible support. Hala Madrid!”
Returning to his press conference, the forward, wearing a smile, reiterated the phrase “very exciting,” expressing his overwhelming emotions of feeling “very happy, free, relieved, and extremely proud” to join Los Blancos.
“This is the club I’ve always aspired to be a part of, so I extend my gratitude to them. I’m eagerly anticipating the opportunity to join this esteemed club, the best in the world,” he elaborated.
