The couple, who tied the knot in 2017 after knowing each other since childhood, already share three sons: Thiago, 11, Mateo, 8, and Ciro, 6. In a previous statement made in September, Messi hinted at the possibility of welcoming a fourth child, particularly expressing his wish for a daughter.
However, in a recent interview with ESPN Argentina, he clarified that while he would love to have a girl, they are not currently pursuing it actively. Reflecting on his time in Paris playing for PSG, Messi shared some challenges, mentioning difficulties with neighbors and personal struggles with the transition.
Despite the hurdles faced, he maintained there were no hard feelings towards anyone in Paris, acknowledging the tough adjustment period and its impact on both his personal life and performance on the pitch.
