Sokoto police have apprehended three bandits’ informants allegedly involved in the abduction of a female lawyer, Rukayyat Mustafa.
The suspects were accused of providing information to the bandits, leading to the kidnapping incident in the Bado area of the state capital.
The police spokesperson confirmed the arrests, stating that the abduction took place early on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
The bandits took Rukayyat and a young man, believed to be her brother, from her residence. The arrested individuals are currently in police custody, and efforts are underway to rescue the victim.
