Tesla issues its fourth recall for the new Cybertruck pickup

Tesla recalls new Cybertruck pickup for the 4th time

Tesla has initiated its fourth recall for the new Cybertruck pickup, launched late last year, due to issues with windshield wipers that could malfunction.

The recall, affecting over 11,000 trucks, was prompted by Tesla’s discovery of problems with the windshield wiper motor controller in February.

This issue could lead to the wiper failing, potentially reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a collision. Additionally, another recall addresses a trim piece along the truck bed that may detach and pose a hazard to other vehicles on the road.

Tesla plans to replace faulty wiper motors and address the trim piece installation concerns at no expense to owners. Notifications and details on both recalls will be sent to owners via letter by August 18.
