This morning, top security officials in Kano held a meeting with the deposed Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero, at the mini-Palace where he is currently residing. Ado Bayero arrived in the state earlier today and was relocated to the mini palace after being removed from power and the reinstatement of Emir Muhammadu Sanusi by Governor Abba Yusuf.

Additionally, soldiers have been sent to the mini palace where Ado Bayero is staying.
