A 29-year-old man, Paul McNaughton, has been sentenced to at least 22 years in prison for the murder of 75-year-old Peter Coshan, a retired biology teacher. The two had initially met on a gay hook-up site in 2021, but McNaughton’s intentions were far from genuine. He created a fake profile to lure Mr. Coshan to his flat in Leith, Edinburgh, where he planned to steal from him.
